A Letter from Pia De Gracia - our future Nurse

"I believe that college education is now considered as one of the major problems in our society. I know there are so many young people like me who would want to finish their studies, but they cannot do so due to financial difficulties. I am among those thousand victims of college educational plan who recently filed bankruptcy. I was not able to get a single cent from them in spite of the fact that my parents paid for it from their sweat and blood. I almost loss hope to enter college because of that problem.
But God is really good. In His own plan, I was given this opportunity to be one of the scholars of BSPFI. If not, I may not be able to continue my college education. Some of my friends had experienced the same problem. They even stopped going to school because they don’t have enough budget for education due to continuous increase of tuition fee.
In my case, even though my family is suffering from financial difficulties, still I was able to enroll through the assistance given by the BSPFI. I am now in my third year taking up BS Nursing at the Holy Angel University. Last June 11, 2005 we already had the capping ceremony. I am thankful to all the people supporting the BSPFI. You are such a wonderful blessings to me and to others as well. Thank you so much! "

Special thanks to the Founder and President of Barkada ng Sagrada Familia Foundation, without him, I know I cannot pursue this dream. Thanks for the assistance and support you have been extending to me and even to my family. I hope someday I can reach my ambition to become a degree holder and become a professional teacher. Again, ‘sa inyo pong lahat maraming, maraming salamat po! Pagpapalain nawa kayo ng Poong Maykapal sa kabusilakan nang inyong mga puso!”

BSPFI President celebrates 10th anniversary to the Priesthood

As I celebrate my 10th Year Anniversary to the Priesthood this coming September 8, 2005, I still couldn’t find enough ways to express my gratitude to God for choosing me amidst my human frailties and sharing with me His very own sacred Priesthood. Ten years was just too fast. But looking at the graces that God had given me in every single day of my priesthood, I can only say THANK YOU SO MUCH, LORD.

Thank you very much Lord for allowing me to represent you in welcoming your little ones in the Sacrament of Baptism.

Thank you so much, Lord for sharing with me the privilege of celebrating Holy Eucharist and be able to feed your flock with your very own body and blood.
Thank you very much, Lord for allowing me to listen and to express your compassion mercy and forgiveness to every penitent in the sacrament of reconciliation.

Thank you very much, Lord for delegating me to witness the sacred exchange of vows of husband and wife in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.

Thank you very much, Lord for allowing me to visit the sick and be able to bring joy and assurance of your promise of eternal life through the Holy Anointing.

Above all, thank you very much, Lord for the gift of ordination.

Thank you very much, dear God for my family. My strength and continued source of my faith, hope and love. Thank you, Lord for my relatives and friends who have been so generous and supportive in my ministry to the poor. Thank you very much for all the people that you have entrusted in my pastoral care. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to love you and to serve you through the poorest of the poor.
